Performative intervention in cooperation with the studio building KunstQuartier Wien Meidling

‘Stronghold’ drew attention to the precarious situation of the tenants of a studio building in Vienna, who were threatened with the loss of their jobs and community with the planned demolition of the building. The tenants' textile work materials were strengthened and hung up on the street in front of the building in order to create visible spaces for negotiation between public space, hanging up laundry as an everyday activity and artistic work.
