Glue-based paint, charcoal, pastel, gouache, crayons and oil paint on OSB boards

In the ‘Parti’ series, OSB panels from a former installation serve as painting supports. Loosely based on pieces of wallpaper removed from the studio wall and cut to shape with a jigsaw and sanded smooth, their soft contours evoke organic forms – a puddle, a thigh, or a hand, emerging like shapes glimpsed in the clouds. Coated with a glue-based paint, the surface merges with the texture of the wood-based material, while the pictorial elements playfully accentuate the contours of each panel.
